Monticello Volleyball Club is the premier youth volleyball instruction provider in Monticello, IL.  We offer top-notch coaching and instruction to young athletes ages K-12. Our experienced coaches provide custom tailored lessons and drills to help players improve their skillset and knowledge.  Whether you are looking to join a competitive team or just looking to brush up on basic techniques, MVC has something for everyone!   Our mission is to provide all of our athletes with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed at volleyball and to promote a healthy, active lifestyle. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and play volleyball with Monticello Volleyball Club!

All Skills Camp - June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18

1st-2nd (2026/27 school year) - 2:30-3:30 pm

3rd-4th (2026/27 school year) - 3:45-4:45 pm

5th-6th Grade (2026/27 school year) - 5- 6:30pm

7th-8th Grade Team Camp/Agility Training

2 days per week of training and live game play followed by jump training with Next Level Sports

2025/2026 Season

3rd and 4th Grade

This season will run December- February.  The team will consist of  a mixture of 3rd and 4th graders split into 3-4 teams.  Small teams will allow for optimal playing time for all players. 

There will be 12 practices held Monday's after school from December- February.   2 in-house scrimmages will be played at PreGame Sports and several local games will be scheduled against area teams.  Additionally, 4th graders will have the option to play in a club tournament in Peoria towards the end of February. 

Registration will open October 2026!

11U, 12U, 13U, 14U 2026 Season

We are so excited to continue our 11-14u club teams this season!  Depending on final registration numbers, we hope to have 1-2 teams per age level.  Girls are allowed to try out for a higher age level but would be placed on age appropriate team if they do not make the higher team.  Stronger 4th graders are allowed to register to tryout for the 11 u team, but teams will likely be filled with 11u players first.

The teams will practice mid/end of March- mid/end of May and participate in several local and travel tournaments.  You can see practice schedule and tentative tournament schedule under the "Schedule" tab once finalized. Tryouts will be held end of January/early February.  For the first time, 11u-14u teams will be open to athletes from any school! Registration opens Jan 1, 2026!

I started Monticello Volleyball Club in 2022 so my own daughter would have a local place to play volleyball with her friends.  My goal is to not only develop a strong team, but to make sure that each player is getting the individual attention and instruction they need. All of our coaches work hard to make sure that everyone is having a great time, while also helping them to become better teammates and overall volleyball players.
